Overview
Join us on the 3rd of February for an unmissable discussion with experts from FIMIC on automatic melt filtering in plastic recycling. This webinar taking place 03–Feb–2021 15:00 GMT | 16:00 CET | 10:00 EDT provides a platform to illustrate the latest techniques and challenges presented by recycling products, and how FIMIC is addressing these challenges.
We will explore why a self-cleaning filter is advisable, given the level of contamination the materials include. The experts will describe a number of specific applications, indicating materials, related common contaminations and pellets obtained, giving insights on the challenges posed by the different incoming materials and the results which can be obtained.
Listen as we discuss not only the most recycled materials but also a number of other materials less commonly processed which are getting increased attention such as PVC, PET and PVB.
Gain an insight into the latest technology as we go into detail on what is available in today’s technology as far as types of screens and working conditions, debating the advantages of using a perforated stainless steel plate versus a mesh screen, or describing how a larger filtering area creates a more suitable environment for an adequate filtration.
We will also include an animation to give a better understanding on how the FIMIC filter works and show the main component of the machine.
The last part of the webinar will be dedicated to a Q&A session. Not to be missed!
Learning Objectives:
- Identify what can be recycled
- Determine why there is a need for a self cleaning filter
- How can Fimic filter help
- Understand how you can manage different materials with different characteristics
